LOI

Foursons

It's Friday - finally and I am hooking up with Julie at Four Sons for her Letters of Intent.  If you want to join in you can click the button up above.

Dear Readers,
I have had the busiest two weeks ever!  I am so sorry that I have not blogged (except on Thursday) and now I have lost one!  I'm back down to 38 and I so want to get to 50!  Oh well, that's life!

Kelly

Dear People on the Internet,

I am trying to pick my own spirits up, but after reading your comments on the crash in the newspaper I just get depressed all over again.  Can you not read about a fatal accident without saying mean things?  Without pointing out what someone may or may not have done wrong?  Can you not just say, wow she died, how awful for her family.  No you had to make remarks like: I bet she was on the cell phone, or I bet she was texting.

Well unfortunately I was there.  I would like to say that had she been on the phone when the crash happened someone would have called back right away. No one did.  Seems like her phone would have been ringing off the hook.  Also if she had been texting the phone would have still been unlocked when we picked it up.  Instead it was locked.  So leave your speculations to yourself. You were not there and no one is perfect.  People can talk about her speeding, but I don't think that there is a person out there that has not gone over the speed limit at least once in their life time, you just didn't have an accident. It's a tragedy when a young life is lost, especially if it was just an accident.  This girl wasn't in a gang, she wasn't out looking for trouble.  She was a young mother, a big sister that took her little sister to Carowinds and ball games

All I'm saying is if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Thank you

Oh my goodness, how sad! I can't believe people can't just leave condolences when someone loses their life. I'm so sorry you were there at the accident. I can't imagine the horror you witnessed.

Thanks for linking up.

People don't know when too much is too much these days. I am sorry that reading those comments hurt you so much. After the accident I can only imagine what a heavy heart you have. I will be praying for you and your son.

So sad that people have to speculate and cause more pain in circumstances like that. Just no reason for it!

As for the Readers/Followers ... the numbers rise ... the numbers fall ... life goes on! Welcome to my addiction! 50 will come in it's own sweet time but then you'll want 75! Sigh! :)

Oh my - that is horrific. I am so sorry that you all had to be there, and then had to experience the hatred of dumb people.

It is so easy to play the "what if" game (believe me - I am preaching to the choir here), but you were attending to what you believed to be the most pressing need. Any of us would have done the same thing.

Hugs!
