On this day 5 years ago I was so tired I could hardly walk because I had stayed up all night in the waiting room of the hospital waiting on you. Cam tried to sleep in a chair, but he was so excited that he couldn't sleep either. Every time a baby would roll pass the waiting room our whole crowd would run to the door trying to get a peek. The nurses would roll their eyes and say, she's still in labor we will tell you when the baby's born. We knew they were annoyed with us, but we didn't care, we loved you and you were not even here yet.
When we did finally get to see you it was only for a minute, but that minute was worth the hours of waiting! You were such a beautiful little baby, so sweet and so tiny. How can a 5 pound 9 ounce baby steal your heart?
You are the only little girl born to the our clan, the last baby born to this group was 7 years old- your birth was a VERY BIG DEAL!
You steal our hears with every giggle, every word and every twirl.
The adults are not the only ones crazy about you. Your smile lights up the room and you light up our lives!
We love you so much, and we are so glad to celebrate this day with you!
