So I am a day (almost two) late on this, and really I'm a week behind. I just thought I would link up so that Amber knows she is not alone in this eating roller coaster!
Eat It:
If you have visited Amber's page, you see her post about eating her feelings. My feelings don't start will food...they start with drink. No I'm not an alcoholic, I'm a coke addict (that's a joke..I know very poor taste), but seriously I have an issue with Coca Cola. I love it. I really do. When most people get mad they want to scream, I want a Coke. When people get depressed they want to eat...I want a Coke. I celebrate victories with a Coke...If I'm bored I grab a Coke. Thirsty ... Coke.
Have I mentioned that I loathe diet drinks???? I'd just rather go thirsty....or drink toilet water (not really). I truly believe if I can just KICK THE COKE I could LOOSE THE WEIGHT.
Work It.
I had to beg and plead to get my Treadmill home, yes I even offered all kinds of favors. Wes brought it home on Sunday night....it blew up on Monday morning 15 minutes into my walk....yes walk I wasn't even running, so the only workout I get is 2 nights a week at dance. That's not nearly enough.
Blog it.
I really want to eat healthy like Amber was talking about, not just cut back but be HEALTHY. I really just don't know how. The only thing I can do is bake chicken...I feel like I may turn into one. If you know of good healthy stuff to eat (for lunch) let me know!!!!

True Story Tuesday - V-Day
Today is Tuesday and I am linking up with Rachel and Mr. Daddy! I love the crazy stories they tell! If you have a crazy story to add, just click on the picture above and link up!
Our First Valentines Day,
When Wes and I met in October of 1999, I was a very broke single mom. When Valentines day rolled around I said on more than one occasion, "Do not buy me anything, Valentines day is a Hallmark holiday and I don't believe in waisting money" NO GIFTS!!! Well that day I did call and ask if he would like to come over for dinner.
I cooked Chicken and Rice and homemade biscuits. (He loves those)
At that time Wes only had a motorcycle. He lived 35-40 miles from me, and I might remind you it was February!! He decided to come over after work and have dinner with us after all.
At 7:30 in walked Wes, decked out in leather (Jacket, Chaps, Boots, Gloves) with a dozen roses and the biggest Hersey's kiss I had ever seen. That was so sweet I almost cried...fast forward 11 years (yes 11 years)
I got in my car yesterday morning and on the dash was ???
big Hershey's Kiss, and the sweetest card ever that said "In 20,30,40 or even 50 years I hope you still want to hold my hand" .... he hates holding hands...and there was a CD, set to play a song he said makes him think of me. George Straight "I look at you" I must say that I cried all the way to work...that was just so sweet.

Trimming the fat
No I'm not talking about the fat on my body. I'm talking about my very overweight budget.
Let's start at the beginning. You may remember one of my last posts where I was complaining about Obamacare and the outrageous price of health insurance. Actually we should go back a little farther.
I love to listen to Dave Ramsey. His big slogan is "Live like no one else so that later you can live like no one else.". I'm not sure what has gotten into me, other than I'm tired of giving my hard earned money away just to be "cool".
Starting with cell phones. Seriously how bad do I need to talk to someone? $100 per month??? No, try talking to the tune of $200 per month!!!
What about my very nice car...do I need a car that has a nasty payment? I drive about 10 miles a day, that includes taking my child to school work picking him up and going home. I could use a bicycle for that...except its too cold.
So I've been looking At where our money goes and the first thing I did was cut back...way back on eating out. It was crazy how much of our money we were eating! Now I'm thinking about the cell phones....I want to keep more of our money. I want to scale back.
Do any of you use a pay as you go phone? If so which one and please tell me about it.
